Who are we?
Specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) are obstetrician-gynecologists with subspecialty training in the management and treatment of high-risk maternal and/or fetal conditions. Maternal-Fetal medicine specialists develop an expertise in advanced obstetrical ultrasound, fetal therapy and the management of maternal diseases with high morbidity potentially requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Research, teaching and continuing medical development are other important facets of the practice of a maternal-fetal medicine specialist.
