After completing a clinical master’s degree in psychology at the University of Montreal and beginning her career in the field, Dr. Dagenais began her medical training at Laval University in 2004. There, she completed her medical degree and residency in obstetrics and gynecology before undertaking a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario.

In 2018, she joined the maternal-fetal medicine team at the Centre Mère-Enfant-Soleil of the CHU de Québec. In 2020, she became responsible for the courses offered by the obstetrics department and was appointed clinical professor in 2022. She is involved in various projects to improve the quality of care in the hospital setting. She is a member of the central ethics committee for assisted reproductive technology.

Her main areas of interest are prenatal diagnosis, invasive placental disorders, and the psychosocial issues surrounding high-risk pregnancies.
